Steelit Security is a business which specializes in the development and production from particular and innovative security products. Steelit Security originated from Kolsteeg Security, a technical security business. Steelit was founded in 2001 and has since increased it’s market share. In The Netherlands Steelit security serves mainly the professional market and the upper private sector. Regarding the professional market one can think of the retail sector, government institutions, banks and actually the whole of the middle/lower business sector. Apart from The Netherlands Steelit trades with various other partners in the European community.

The development of the Steelit, a modular burglar resistant compartmentalization, has taken four years. An important part of the time has been taken-up in the research for reliable partners for the production and the assembly, and the obtaining from the most crucial certificating form the Dutch National Centre for Prevention (NCP) and the Dutch Foundation Quality Front Building (SKG).
